A Notice of Inquiry regarding redesignation of the Mechanical Licensing Collective (“MLC”) and the Digital Licensee Coordinator (“DLC”) published in the Federal Register by the U.S. Copyright Office presents an important opportunity for the DLC to highlight the many ways in which it has and continues to represent its digital music provider members before the MLC and the Copyright Office, effectively and efficiently fulfilling its statutory mandate.
